In a communication from the Global Secretariat, it has been disclosed that Mr. Ntiokam Divine- Founder and Executive Director of Climate Smart Agriculture Youth Network Global (GCSAYN), UN Food Systems Champion, Food and Land Use (FOLU) Coalition International Ambassador, founding member Global Environmental Education Platform (GEEP) Africa is visiting University of Arizona on a special invitation from Arizona Institute for Resilient Environment and Societies and the Arizona Initiative for Resilience and International Development (AIRID).
Mr. Divine recognizes the critical importance of the youth in building a resilient, sustainable, and prosperous agricultural sector in Africa. This passion drove him to start the Global Climate Smart Agriculture Youth Network (GCSAYN) in May of 2014, where he now serves as its Managing Director. The network includes teams from a hundred plus countries, working to raise awareness on Climate Smart Agriculture among young men and women, educating them on the benefits of sustainable approaches to increasing agricultural yields and resilience.
