CSAYN Journey: Samuel joined CSAYN in 2016. Although being new to the team, Samuel’s dynamism resulted in his inclusion in the CSAYN COP 22 delegation where he effectively coordinated CSAYN’s side events, represented the organization on panels and also granted media interviews sharing more about the organization’s activities globally. Dr. Samuel Opoku Gyamfi is now Chairman, CSAYN Health Advancement Program (CHAP).
Biography: Dr. Samuel Opoku Gyamfi is a medical doctor and a public health expert with about 10 years of experience in health promotion and leadership. His impact spans across diverse fields including Health, Climate Change, Agriculture, Food and Nutrition. Samuel is the Founder of Healthrope International (Member of AYICC), an international NGO focusing on Preventive Health Education and Climate Change. Samuel is a member of the “Resilient 40” network, a member of the UN Committee on Food Security’s Open Ended Working Group, a former AWAS Global Youth Ambassador and the current Chairman and Coordinator of the CSAYN Health Advancement Program (CHAP). Samuel is multilingual and speaks 5 international languages.
